What are the best (and worst) paying Play’n GO slots?
Fact: Play’n GO slots have a pretty good RTP
However, there is a (big) catch. You need to pick the right online casino.
Play’n GO has become one of the leading online slot providers in the last few years.
I’ve collected the theoretical Return to Player percentages (RTP’s) of all Play’n GO slots and compared them to other slot providers.
The Return To Player is a way of expressing how much of the total stakes will be paid back on average to the player, calculated over millions of spins. The higher the RTP, the better it is for you as a player.
Usually, the RTP for Play’n GO slots is above the industry average.
One remark, though: with Play’n GO slots, online casinos can choose to offer the slot with a lower RTP. So, an RTP could, for example, be 94% at one casino and 96% at another casino.
Therefore, you always need to check before you play.
You see that the RTP of most Play’n GO slots (the red coloured dots) are well above the green coloured line, the average RTP of the slots, which is around 96.25%.
You also see that most grey coloured dots (the RTP’s of the slots of 16 other providers) are below the red dots. It confirms that Play’n GO slots score better when it comes to the payout rate.
I conclude that, if you play a Play’n GO slot, you are usually not ripped off AS LONG AS YOU PLAY AT THE RIGHT CASINO.
Why a higher RTP helps
The higher the RTP, the more you benefit. If the RTP is 96%, you will lose $€4 after every $€100 you wager (on average). But you’ll lose $€3 (on average) if the RTP is 97%.
Is it such a big deal? Yes, more than you think. If starting balance is €100, you’ll probably stake as much as €500 or even more. Don’t forget you stake your winnings, as well.
You can see that the difference is already more substantial. And it becomes larger and larger once you start to wager higher amounts.
The RTP is not the same as the volatility (or variance) of the slot. Variance says something about the variation of the sizes of wins. High volatility slots pay out more top prizes (but less often).
Low variance slots award more often the smaller wins.
The top 20 best-paying Play‘n GO slots
Below the top 20 list with slots with an excellent (or high) RTP. I looked at all Play‘n GO slots from January 2012.
|1.Rage to Riches||2015||97.12%|
|4.Mystery Joker 6000||2017||96.91%|
|5.Fortunes of Ali Baba||2020||96.89%|
|9.Pearls of India||2014||96.84%|
|12.Leprechaun goes Egypt||2013||96.75%|
|16.Book of Dead||2016||96.72%|
|20.Wizard of Gems||2015||96.66%|
You can see that only one slot has an RTP above 97%: Rage to Riches. But slots as Xmas Joke, Wildhound Derby or Mystery Joker 6000 score very close.
It’s also great to see that blockbuster slots as Book of Dead or GEMiX are also on the list.
And, last but not least, also three slots were released in 2020.
CasinoHipster is delighted to see that Play’n GO continues to release slots with a fantastic RTP.
The 10 worst paying Play‘n GO slots
Even though Play‘n GO slots generally have a pretty good RTP, it is not the case for all Play‘n GO slots.
Below the list of slots with a low RTP. And yes, it is essential to know which slots you want to avoid.
There are some real stinkers here, with theoretical payout rates way below par.
|1. Merry Xmas||2014||95.78%|
|2. Lady of Fortune||2014||95.79%|
|3. Samba Carnival||2016||95.79%|
|4. Viking Runecraft Bingo||2020||95.87%|
|5. Inferno Star||2019||96.00%|
|6. Baker’s Treat||2018||96.04%|
|7. Cats & Cash||2018||96.07%|
|8. Leprechaun Goes Wild||2020||96.10%|
|9. Sweet 27||2017||96.10%|
|10. House of Doom||2018||96.11%|
The good news is that only three Play‘n GO slots (out of more than 100 slots) have a payout rate below 96%. Slots you should always avoid are Merry Xmas (95.78%), Lady of Fortune (95.79%) and Samba Carnival (95.79%).
CasinoHipster tip: always check the RTP of Play‘n GO slots
Play‘n GO is a provider that gives casinos the option to offer the same slot at a lower payout rate.
The default payout rate of a slot could be 96.5%, but some casinos may offer it, for example, at 95.5% or 94.5%.
Always check the game rules and verify the RTP before even thinking about playing the slot for real money. Especially with Play‘n GO slots.
Conclusion: most (but not all) Play‘n GO slots have a pretty good RTP
I conclude that Play‘n GO slots have a better RTP than the average RTP of 96.25% (the average RTP of 16 of the most well-known providers).
Rage to Riches (97.12%), Xmas Joker (96.98%), Wildhound Derby (96.93%) and Mystery Joker 6000 (96.91%) are the best-paying slots.
