There are enough reasons for us to love Energoonz, which on top of it all, has an excellent payout rate of 96.73%. The variance is medium.

Energoonz gameplay and features

You play the game with fixed bets. The minimum bet is $€ 0.20 per spin, and the maximum bet is $€ 40 per spin. So far, so good, if it wasn’t for the fact the next betting step after $€ 0.20 per spin is $€ 1 per spin. We cannot quite get our heads around this considerable leap.

We estimate at least 50% – 75% of the players prefer to play a bet level between $€ 0.40 and $€ 0.80 per spin. So, $€ 1 per spin is just too big of a difference.

A bit of a strange move by Play’n GO, as it will scare off quite some players.

The symbols drop on the 5 x 5 matrix of symbols, and winning combinations consist of 3 or more of the same symbols on a horizontal or vertical line.

If you get a winning combination with 3 or 4 symbols, then a wild symbol will appear on the screen and remain there as long as you spin winning combinations.

Furthermore, all winning symbols disappear and make space for new winning combinations to hit the reels.

Last but not least, the slot comes with a multiplier, which increases 1 x with each winning step – the more winning combinations, the bigger the prizes.

The sticky wilds, in particular, can help you make several winning combinations in a row. Do you manage to get rid of the entire playing field? Then you win no less than 1,000 x your total bet!

The Energoonz bonus round

Sometimes the word ‘bonus’ is hidden behind the symbols on the vertical rows. If you succeed in unlocking the whole reel, you will win the bonus round.

Our verdict on the Energoonz slot

The Energoonz Play’n GO slot is very original and well-executed. We have some difficulties with being forced to make bets of either $€ 0.20 (too low for our taste) or $€ 1 or more (too high for our taste).

Fortunately, the payout rate of 96.73% is okay, and the bonus round happens quite often. Conclusion? Energoonz is an excellent slot to unlock a welcome bonus or grab a few extra rounds if you are on the winning streak.
