Tiki Infinity Reels Megaways slot review (ReelPlay)
ReelPlay started to combine the Infinity Reels and Megaways with Odin Infinity Reels Megaways, and this slot is a lovely follow up. ReelPlay is the first to introduce the Infinity Reels mechanic (and they trademarked it). The slot is fantastic, as long as you like the new mechanic. It offers a lot of gaming potential but is perhaps a bit overwhelming and confusing.Play Now

Tiki Infinity Reels Megaways – another great attempt of an infinity reels slot with a twitch of Megaways
With the Infinity Reel mechanic, it’s indeed possible to land symbol ways in the thousands – at least in theory.
The max win is capped to 10,000x, which is perhaps the main reason why you won’t get the feeling that the sky’s the limit.
SLOT: Tiki Infinity Reels Megaways | SOFTWARE: REELPLAY
Number of paylines: “infinity”
RTP and variance: 96.07%, Medium to High variance
Maximum win: 10,000 x the bet or $€0.09 million
Betting range: $€0.30 – $€9
Bonus features: Free spins
Casino Hipster verdict: HOT! A surprising mix of Infinity Reels and Megaways always on a tropical bounty beach.
Gameplay and Features
When you open the screen, you get to see three reels. According to the Megaways mechanic, these have a random 2 up to 5 symbols each.
Like all Megaways slots, we have the win-all-ways feature, leading to (in theory) countless win-ways (Reel Play calls these “symbol ways”).
The slot also works with the Infinity reels mechanic. You gain a free re-spin following a win, and at the same time, you’ll see an extra reel on the right. Like all ReelPlay Infinity Reel slots, you get an increased win multiplier (the increment is +1).
If, for example, you win five consecutive times, you end up with eight reels and with a win multiplier of x6.
The four Tiki masks (purple, red, blue and green) are the high-paying symbols, and the 9, 10, J, Q, K and A are the low-paying symbols.
The GOLD TIKI is the Wild symbol, and the VOLCANO symbols are the Scatters.
How does ReelPlay’s payout table work?
You win if you land at least one identical symbol on the three leftmost reels.
Let’s take as an example the blue Tiki mask symbol, which has a value of 4. If you manage to land 18 Tiki mask symbol ways (for example, three blue Tiki’s on both reels 1 and 2 and another two on reel 3), you win 72 coins (18×4=72). Divide this amount by 30, and you have a 2.4x win.
I hope it’s clear that the number of symbol ways can grow very (but very) rapidly, thanks to the Megaways mechanic.
But there is more.
You have the win multiplier, which increases by +1 after a re-spin (and reel expansion).
And like the other Infinity Reel slots, 12 or more reel expansions gets you a win multiplier of a fantastic 888x. That’s more like it!
How do you get the free spins?
You win 10 free spins if you manage to land five or more VOLCANO scatters.
During the free spins, you get an extra free spin for each two-reel additions per single spin.
If you manage to land five or more VOLCANO’s again, you retrigger another four free spins.
The free spins
The main advantage is that the win multiplier is sticky (it does not reset after a loss).
The key to a big win is to get many wins at the start and hopefully end with a massive win with a high multiplier.
Tiki Infinity Reels Megaways slot: the payout rate (RTP) is 96.07%
The return to player is 96.07% which is around par, but certainly not birdy!
Tiki Infinity Reels Megaways slot: the variance (volatility) is medium to high
The slot has a medium to high variance slot, and the max win is capped at 10,000x the bet.
I expect the top wins to be a couple of thousands of times the bet.
Pros en Cons
- Two blistering features in one slot
- Animations are excellent and better than those of the other Infinity Reel slots
- Cheerful and bright appearance
- A bit tricky to understand the payouts
- The infinity idea is a bit limited due to the max win, which is capped at 10,000x
