Symbols and payouts

The symbols in the game are the wizard, the book, and the hourglass. Apart from that, there are magic potions in the colours purple, blue, and green. Lastly, there are the low-value symbols in the shape of gemstones coloured red, yellow, and purple.

The gems pay out 1 x your bet with five the same ones. The magic potions will net you 3 x to 5 x your bet. The hourglass will get you 6 x your bet with a 5-of-a-kind — the book and the wizard 8 x your stake. In contrast to the other symbols, the wizard pays out, starting at just two symbols.

The Wild symbol is called the Wizard Wild; it’s the wizard symbol in gold. This replaces all symbols except for the scroll and the treasure chest. You only see the Wild during the Wizard Wild Feature. This Wild also pays out nicely, starting at two symbols.

Wizard Wild Feature

Both in the primary game and the bonus feature, we have the Wizard Wild Feature. As soon as a whole reel is filled with wizard symbols, it will change into an Expanded Wild. All other wizard symbols on the rest of the reels will also transform into a Wizard Wild.

Bonus Coin Collection Feature

While playing, you will see at the top left-hand side of the reels a piggy bank for coins.

During your play, you can collect gold and silver coins. They can appear randomly with spins and are added to the bonus bank. These points come in real handy during the Wizard Shop feature. More about that later

Our verdict on the Wizard Shop video slot

Push Gaming’s The Wizard Shop slot is a multi-faceted game wherein the wizard has pulled out many magic tricks. There is no time to get bored.

In the beginning, it might all seem a bit like Hocus Pocus, but you soon figure out everything that is going on.

What I also find a mega plus is that you can create your bonus. Add a dash of Wilds, some multipliers, and finish it with some treasure chests.

Stir for a moment, and voilà, your own homemade bonus feature. A-MAZ-ING!!
