Mirror Mirror is Netent’s third release in the Fairytale Legends video slots series

The Fairytale Legends slots, apart from being based on well-known fairytales, have a couple of things in common:

• The games are quite simple.
• They have a signature graphic style.
• The games have plenty of bonus features.
• The payout rate is high.
• Variance is between low and medium.

Although we’re not huge fans of the Fairytale Legends slots ourselves (you will not win massive prizes, and the gameplay is a bit too simple for our taste), they are all well-executed themes.

Win more than 1,800 x your total bet

Thanks to the high payout rate (Mirror Mirror has an RTP of 96.48%) and the high bonus frequency, at the very least, you get a lot of playtime for your money. However, it will be challenging to make a real fortune.

The respin bonus allows you to win up to 182,250 coins, which is more than 1,800 x the total bet. Not too impressive since it is almost impossible to spin a full screen of the same symbols.

Mirror Mirror gameplay and features

There are 243 ways to win on a playing field consisting of 5 reels with 3 symbols per reel. So, it doesn’t matter where the symbols hit the reels, as long as they drop on consecutive reels from left to right.

The minimum bet per spin is only $€ 0.10, very beneficial for the recreational gambler. Naturally, you can also make more substantial bets by increasing the coin value and the bet level. The maximum bet is $€ 100 per spin.

Symbols & payouts

The premium symbols consist of the well-known Fairytale Legends symbol (150 coins for 5 of the same), Sleeping Beauty (75 coins) and the Evil Witch (also 75 coins for 5 identical ones). All other symbols earn you between 50 and 15 coins for 5-of-a-kind.

There are no wild symbols in the game.

Mirror Mirror bonus features

You can win a lot of mini features and big bonus features. The good fairy will visit you during the mini-features and conjure up a mini bonus on the screen.

You activate the main bonus by spinning three treasure chests. Sometimes the good fairy gives a helping hand to get you a 3rd treasure chest, which of course, is a welcome gift.

Fairy Magic Spin

In this mini-feature, the fairy makes sure there are 5 to 7 of the same symbols on the screen, after which the reels spin.

Fairy Surprise

One of the medium symbols becomes a special symbol. One by one, the lower-value symbols now change into this symbol until a winning combination is formed.

Fairy Mirror Feature

The mirror appears on the 3rd reel and reflects either Sleeping Beauty or the Evil Witch. You will receive respins as long as that particular symbol continues to reappear on the screen.

The more identical symbols hit the reels, the higher the chance of an attractive payout.

Main bonus: choose from 3 bonus features

You activate the main bonus by spinning three scattered treasure chests on reels 1, 3 and 5. You can then select one chest, and you will win one of the following bonus features:

Coin Win: The least lucrative bonus will give you a cash prize of 15 x the total bet.

Free Spins: Win 10 free spins with extra chances in the Fairy Mirror Feature.

Mining Bonus: Pick and click bonus with up to 8 prizes of a maximum of 500 coins.

Our verdict on the Mirror Mirror slot

As we mentioned earlier, the Fairytale Legends slots are not among our favourite Netent slots.

However, we are aware of the fact that a lot of online casino players think otherwise.

They love the fairytale themes, the high payout rates and the numerous bonus features.

The best you can do is try it out for yourself and see how you like it.
