Mystery Spin Deluxe is a bit of a strange one when it comes to Megaways slots. There’s no Buy a Bonus feature, and maybe even more remarkable, and there is no main bonus feature.

Instead, you’ll have to make do with mystery symbols and synchronized reels.

It’s kind of Twin Spin meets Megaways; the retro look strongly reminds us of Twin Spin, too.

The slot can still make you a lot of money, but we like to work towards a big bonus feature that is just more fun.

How does the Mystery Spin Deluxe Megaways slot work?

The number of ways to win can change during each spin, but it’s not a classic Megaways slot. All six reels always have the same height: between 3 and 7 rows.

Depending on the number of rows, you play with 729, 4,096, 15,625, 46,656 or 117,649 Megaways.

The minimum bet is $€ 0.10, and the maximum stake is $€ 2 per spin. You can win up to 10,000 x the stake.

The variance is high. You are always on the lookout for that perfect spin with as many Megaways, synchronized reels, and mystery symbols in one go as possible.

On the other hand, the payout rate is a disappointing 95% (certainly 1% below par).

Symbols and payouts

It doesn’t get much more classic than this set of fruit slot symbols.

The highest-value symbol is the red 7, which awards you 10 x the total bet for 6-of-a-kind.

It is followed by the fruit symbols (melon, orange, grape, lemon and cherry), which are worth between 0.5 x and 1 x the total bet for 6 identical symbols.

The card symbols 10, J, Q, K and A earn you between 0.4 x and 0.5 x the total bet for 6 identical ones.

The wild symbol replaces any other symbol except the Mystery Symbols.

Mystery Symbols and Mystery Spin

Mystery symbols can appear at any time, and they all contain the same symbol. In the case of a Mystery Spin, Mystery symbols always appear on the Synced Reels and then fill up the entire reel.

In Sync Feature

During the In-Sync Feature, the famous Twin Spin mechanism is activated: at each spin, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 reels are fully synchronized.

The more reels are In Sync, the higher the chance of a mega win.

Our verdict on the Mystery Spin Deluxe Megaways slot

Mystery Spin Deluxe Megaways is a decent Megaways slot for sure, but we cannot help the feeling that something is missing.

A main bonus feature with free spins and multipliers would have worked wonders.

Besides, we are not exactly pleased with the low Return To Player of 95%.

In short: not the hit we had hoped for, but certainly worth a try.
